Every great recording starts somewhere. Are you ready to produce your next take?
1. RECORD — Take 1
Choose a short passage from your music and record yourself playing or singing. Your smartphone, tablet or another recording device will do!
2. LISTEN — Sound Check
Put on your headphones and listen carefully. What do you notice about your rhythm, tempo, articulation, dynamics, tone or expression?
3. ADJUST — Studio Adjustment
Choose ONE musical detail you'd like to improve. Experiment with a suitable practice strategy and discover what makes a difference.
4. RECORD AGAIN — Take 2
Record your passage again, compare both performances and identify what changed.
