Grade 8 Creative Arts — Music (CAPS) 2027

Designed for Grade 8 learners taking Creative Arts: Music within the CAPS curriculum, this workbook provides a structured, engaging and progressive approach to the development of music literacy, listening, practical understanding and creative musical skills.

Grade 8 is an important developmental year in which learners begin to build greater confidence and independence in the way they engage with music. The workbook therefore helps learners strengthen the foundational knowledge developed in earlier grades while introducing new concepts in a clear and manageable way.
