Jan Lutz
Social media manager
Raised in the picturesque town of Stellenbosch, Jan Lutz discovered his love for music early on. At the age of six, he picked up the violin, beginning a twelve-year journey under the guidance of Ms. Maryke Lintvelt at the Johnman School of Music.
In 2024, Jan embarked on violin lessons with Dr Annien Shaw, deepening his skills and musical understanding. Alongside his instrumental studies, he discovered a passion for music theory, starting with Dr Mariaane du Preez-Briggs in 2018 and continuing with Dr Ronella van Rensburg at ScoreS2Duo from 2019 to 2023.
Throughout his musical education, Jan thrived in orchestral settings, finding joy in ensemble playing. He also developed a keen interest in classical music, immersing himself in its timeless melodies and stories.
